***UPDATE*** 6/17/2009
A couple updates. Check In and Doubles will be played at Palisade on Friday evening.
Unfortunately our food sponsor bailed on us, so we regret to inform everyone we will not be providing a lunch. For the tournament. There are a variety of food places along the way to Palisade's course.
I look forward to seeing you all there.

GREAT JOB WESTERN SLOPE!
Because of you and the great citizens of the Western Slope, the 2009 Grand Valley Ice Bowl was a success. The Grand Valley Catholic Outreach received cash donations of $4046.00 and also received 900lbs of food.
You all should be proud, that you made a difference in the lives of those less fortunate and in need of some assistance and hope.

The new tags and membership package should be in for the first tag match of 2009.
What do you get for 20$
1) Limited Edition, leather membership bag tag.
2) Limited Edition, Discraft Sky-Pro Disc, with the club logo on it. This disc is PDGA approved for the new Super Class tournament series.
3) You support the club, who is trying to expand the disc golf scene in the valley.
Hope to see you there. We have a limited run of tags for the first 1-50 members. Members after the 50 mark, we have those being made, but have not been completed yet.

CDSA Board Meeting January 11, 2009 1:30pm Arvada City Hall, Police Dept. Entrance – Anne Campbell Conference Room
The Colorado Disc Sports Association is having it’s annual Board Meeting on January 11th, 2009 1:30pm, at the Arvada Police Department. We’ll be in the conference room immediately inside the building, which is right next to the parking lot of the Johnny Roberts Arvada course.
Matt James is running for President and we also have a new website, to help refresh the organization into a more modern and player friendly entity. There are a couple of board positions open and specialized volunteer opportunities that we need to fill. We are trying to make the CDSA bigger and better for everyone in the sport and we need your help.
The Board Meeting is open to everyone. You don’t have to be a touring pro or even play tournaments to help support the sport. Maybe you would like to run for a Board position, or just come and see what happens behind the scenes of disc golf. Please feel free to come and bring a friend.

Huge thanks to all the players who came out and played our event.
It was an Honor and a Pleasure to run this year's Colorado State Disc Golf Championships.

Hey all, Powderhorn is doing and awesome event the weekend before the state championships. It's going to be a fun event for the whole family.
Pro entry is just 20$ and the Am entry is only 10$. So come enjoy a great round of disc on the mountain and support the new course at Powderhorn Resort.

You DO NOT want to miss this event! This is one of the best tournaments of the year!
Please mark your calendars for Saturday July 26th for the “Tara Peck Memorial Disc Golf Benefit” to be held at Rendezvous Ranch on Glade Park.
(19801 Little Park Road)
A $25 donation will include 36 holes of friendly competition, an awesome lunch, beverages, prizes and a raffle.
Proceeds go to the Tara Peck Scholarship Fund which will help a young athlete attend college in Tara’s memory.
Players meeting at 9:00 am, bring a friend, sunscreen, and good shoes.
Schedule will be 18 holes, lunch, 18 holes, party/prizes/raffle.
